Dr. Nicholas Khabbaz

Founder and CEO

Nicholas has over 20 years experience in the InvestTech and enterprise data architecture spaces. He led the inception, design and development of the HedgeSight platform. Nicholas also founded e-Modelers, Inc. a professional services company specializing in enterprise data architecture and modeling with over 90 clients worldwide including 20 Fortune 500 companies. Previously, he spent over 10 years in the inception, design, development of a global investment management system (GIMS) for international asset management firms. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Marty Dirks

Senior Advisor, Alternative Investments

Marty has more than thirty years of experience in the investment management and the alternative investment space. Currently, he is an advisor to DE Capital Partners, a member of the investment committee of the Den Center endowment fund, a FINRA advisor, and an expert witness in complex financial litigations. He served as a Board Member for the City of San José Retirement System and was a Senior Investment Consultant at Milliman. Previously, He served as Long/Short investment analyst for multiple investment firms including Harvard Management. Marty holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Engineering Physics.

Bruce Williams

Senior Advisor, Technology Management

Bruce has more than 25 years of experience in business strategy, marketing and sales, having held senior executive positions in a number of technology companies. He was Vice President and Business Line Leader at Pegasystems, Senior Vice President for Strategic Business Transformation Solutions at Software AG, Chairman and CEO of Savvi International, Co-founder and CEO of The Six Sigma Management Institute, Co-founder and President of Entrada Software, and held several senior management positions within Sybase. Bruce holds a dual Master of Engineering in technical management and computer science from the University of Colorado and Johns Hopkins University.

Desmond Low-Kum

Senior Advisor, Alternative Investments

Desmond has over 30 years experience in the alternative investment space focusing on fund audit, compliance and operational due diligence (ODD). He currently provides ODD consultancy in the alternative investment industry. Desmond spent 10 years at Stanford Management Company, serving as a director, Operational Risk Management and Compliance. He was previously a Senior Audit Manager at Stanford University for investment management and alternative investments. Desmond has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University, South Africa, and a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honors) from the University of South Africa.


Bronwyn Bailey

Senior Advisor, Private Equity

Bronwyn has 15 year experience in Private Equity. Currently, she is a Managing Director, Fund Banking Group at J.P. Morgan Private bank. Previously she held multiple positions spanning different areas of Private equity, including a Managing Director at First Republic Bank, VP of Research and Investor Relations at the American Investment Council, VP of Head of Distribution Analytics at BlackRock, and Director Research and Investment Division at Silicon Valley Bank. Bronwyn is a CAIA Charterholder. She received a Ph.D degee in Political Economy from UCLA.
